Steam cloud not synchronising between PC and laptop

Played on PC last night but when i loaded wreckfest on laptop today, it has not updated last nights progress. Steam cloud saves are enabled on both devices. It says cloud is up to date on the game info. What's going on?

"It says cloud is up to date on the game info" on supposedly the laptop? I.e., I would expect that the desktop had an issue syncing when you quit yesterday. If so then syncing manually on the desktop or starting/stopping it there would clear it up.

Well, the obvious first check is to check the cloud status on the "PC".

If that's not accessible right now, you can also check the cloud savefiles directly https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage by looking at the timestamps on the files to see if any have been updated recently, but that is a bit more technical.
