YOUR ACCOUNT IS TEMPORARILY BLOCKED IN THE STEAM COMMUNITY SYSTEM
I was emailed from 'steam' disp;aying this and how i have to contact my agent which was linked but it seemed legit as the steam message just popped up and they seemed to change my name to a number and block and unblock all my friends at once, they said my account was under investigation due to an item in my inventory was scammed from someone in its trade history but not by me, I needed to send my whole inventory to the steam cloud. I am wondering what to do now as I haven't heard back from them and ibr I dont know if it was a scam or not cause it seemed so legit.

It is 100% a scam and total nonsense too.

Hijacked, not hacked. You leaked your account credentials somehow.

Do not trade until your account is secured.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Steam does not return inventory items or wallet funds: https://help.steampowered.com/faqs/view/3B6E-B322-2400-8D24

your account is compromised
DO NOT TRADE
If you have access to the account

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Please review how you are logging into Steam, you somehow gave them your log in information. This could of been due to the computer being compromised and redirecting to a fake login, or you using a 3rd party site to login to steam.

Once you are sure you have regained control, you can start trading again. Please triple check any trades you make to be sure they are going to the correct account.

After you have secured the account, please edit your profile back to normal (if it was altered by the hijacker/scammer)

Steam support does not post messages on your profile, they don't give out warnings about pending bans, they dont give time to move stuff, they wont tell you to move stuff. Someone has enough access to the account to make changes to the profile. If you try to move any items, the trade will get cancelled and a new one created sending the items to the scammers accounts.

They do not change your name/avatar unless it violates the rules (advertising, inappropriate language, etc). Such a change would only reset it to the default settings (your steam ID for the name, the default ? avatar for the avatar). This would include an account alert that you have to click a box that says "I have read this"

Yup, your items are gone. The scammer who has access to your account keeps closing the tickets.

Follow the steps you've been provided to secure your account.

support always responds when they close a ticket. the scammer has a bot set up that is closing your tickets. secure the account, then report the account your items went to.

is there legit no way to get back my items or at least try and ban the person or find my items as it was my whole inventory

You gave everything away. So do all steps mentioned above to secure your account. But everything you lost, is gone.
