refund issue
hello. i just refunded a game + a portion of its dlc yesterday and within 2 hours it got approved and the funds are now pending for my steam wallet. no issue there.

however, i had more dlc for that refunded game that i bought separately that i also liked to refund. but unfortunately steam is not allowing me to sort of "bulk" refund them all at once like the first purchase and i didn't wanted to spam refund them one by one as i figured steam's automated system would not be happy with that so i contacted support.

got a reply back saying my stuff is not eligible for refund and immediate closure of the ticket. really disappointing there. but it makes no sense, the things were bought a day ago and the base game, which has already be successfully refunded, had a max of 76min of play time so i don't understand why support would say that these other dlc would be ineligible for a refund.

any help? with the base game refunded + a portion of its dlc, i have no use for these ones at all.

What is the exact answer you got in the ticket?
What exactly did you not get the refund for?

Not all DLC is refundable, it tells you when you buy it if it is. What game and what DLC is one of the ones that they are saying isn't refundable?

It is refundable i believe. they're DLC for Snowrunner (Land Rover Dual Pack etc).

Your playtime for Snowrunner shows 2.3 hours on record which would be over the 2 hour limit for a refund.

yet my refund for the base game was approved? cuz to me it showed 76min on the refund screen yesterday so idk. if it was truly over 2h then why approve the refund for the base game and leave me with dlcs i have literally 0 use for now it makes no sense.

Go to the purchase for the DLC and instead of choosing refund select "I have a question about this purchase" and explain what you're wanting and why.

Snowrunner last played 22 Nov (today). 2.3hrs.

Do not continue to play a game once you have requested a refund.

i already have. the reply i got back is explained in the OP. the reason i even bothered contacting them was not wanting to spam refund the leftover dlcs. cuz i figured if i refunded a base game every dlc associated with it would be auto-refunded in the process. why would it not be? no one wants dlcs when they have refunded the base game required to use it.

for future replies, yes i have realized it shows 2.3 hours of playtime now but to me on refund yesterday showed 76min. but regardless this now 2.3h game has been APPROVED for refund w funds pending so i no longer have it on my account.

Refunds outside the 2 week/2 hour period are case-by-case exceptions. Tgis means some will be granted while others (most) won't.

The base game was an exception, the dlc not.

I understand but this makes no sense. as i said, the dlc is literally waste product without the base game. but regardless i am getting the refunds for them, however, as i said, the auto system is starting to warn me about the amount of refund request. the very thing i wanted to avoid since i'm not trying to abuse anything.

Do not continue to play a game once you have requested a refund.

the game was uninstalled right after hitting the refund request button. if steam can check that they can confirm.

Nothing you can do about it, sounds like they were bought in multiple transactions, and each transaction costs valve a little money in transaction fees.

Except your profile shows you played Snowrunner today

- There was 2 transaction only. the first one was fully refunded all at once and the second one, my guess is, cuz there was no base game in it, it registered as each item bought separately when they were all in a cart.

- It shows today cuz it was past midnight in my country. https://i.imgur.com/0zaF82V.png

But regardless i understand there's nothing i can do about it. i'll try and make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

It literally shows on your profile you played it to today (22nd) and yet you stated you refunded it yesterday.

Thanks for the update but as stated:

Hence why it shows as 2.3 hours and not as you stated:
