Unable to access EA Play in steam.

I have done all that the EA side of things had me do, but I still cannot access my EA play subscription games on steam. I have used this guide to the dot https://www.techy.how/tutorials/connect-pc-game-pass-ea-play-steam-account
I also have a screenshot of the successfully linked account. but am unsure if I can attach it to this post

Any help would be appreciated, or some delegation to a potential solution, I have been looking for an hour ish, and steam support has no way to ask about these less common issues. Do not worry about this not being an intended feature, as all faqs I have looked at have stated that you can transfer EA play from game pass to steam, and the EA app.

If you want EA Play on Steam, you have to purchase it on Steam.
