Steam Turkey
Hello,

Have you been following the developments after the price update in Steam Turkey? Right now, many people in Turkey are talking about Steam's dollar pricing. As someone who has been using Steam for about 8 years and has purchased more than a thousand games, I demand that this decision be reconsidered. Otherwise, I think there will be a significant drop in sales from Turkey. It seems important to reconsider this decision in terms of users and purchasing power in the Turkish market.

Considering the current state of your country's economy and the still declining of the value of the Turkish Lira, there is not much of a leg to stand on.

You're REALLY overestimating the weight of this threat. Turkey's not that large of a market to begin with, then there's the thing with worthless currency meaning there's little to gain from this market anyway. Considering the fact that supporting a specific currency isn't free to begin with, losing a market with little revenue isn't that much of a problem.

you are right about the money value but I don't think it is a small market
I will not buy anything until they find a better solution.
As a person in Turkey, who earns TL, and has bank accounts in TL, why should I buy games in USD and go through all the bank procedures and extra fees? This is a terrible solution.
Don't buy anything my fellow Turkish players.

How high would you rank it, compared to other big markets?

Turkish is the 7th most used language in Steam and is generally among the top 10 countries in terms of sales. You can see this from certain steam analyses
