Discord steam support

i was contacted on discord about how i was reported for "illegal purchases" on steam. and they point you toward a discord user claiming to be steam support. I dont know how they do it. they get your profile and using an extension or something, they use that profile on their own site. they make it seem convincing but once i saw that giant red valve png next to my profile i knew it was bunk. BEWARE, STEAM ADMINS AND SUPPORT WILL NEVER CONTACT YOU OUTSIDE OF STEAM OR EMAIL.

i can supply anyone with images of the conversations i had, including the video they sent me of their spoof site showing my profile. im not sure if their info was real but i have a steam profile name that i could potentially report for scamming.

There is no Steam Support on Discord, only scammers.

Hijacked, not hacked. You leaked your account credentials somehow.

Do not trade until your account is secured.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

They shared a picture with a ban request, on part of the ban request it says, You can Reach the valve moderator on The Discord Platform steamvalve.seanvanaman for Live Investigation.

Is this scam?

I don't know how, he had access to my account I haven't leaked my account to anyone. I Just logged in There was a different email address, no mobile phone number, no steam guard even though it was on and no payment details. I have changed everything password, mobile number, I've deauthorized all other devices and generated new backup codes for the mobile app.

I should be good yes?
