Hacked account and no way to contact steam support
So my friend's account has probably been hacked. She couldn't log in with her password and the captcha images just kept coming endlessly when she tried to reset it. So she couldn't get anywhere past the error messages like "too many incoming captcha to your computer, please try again later." Now it's just "too many restoring tries, try again later". And nobody knows any time limit to even try reaching for help support again. My question is: how to contact steam for any help when you need to be already logged in for whatever thing you do?? Reset password don't work, can't go forward at the "stolen account help" and whatever. There is no way to reach any support if I'm not logged in or can't go forward through these simple first steps to reach creating a ticket for them?

If Captcha bugs out, try turning off extensions/VPN or use another browser.

You contacting Steam Support about this will do nothing, your friend has to recover her own account.

Which changes nothing, the guide walks you through how to recover an account and is the only way to contact support when not logged in.

You don't have to be logged into an account to generate a support ticket especially when it comes to account recovery. Users aren't supposed to use other accounts to recover mains either.

Thanks for the help! We where able to find "locate account through email search", it found nothing. Then searched by user name and then we saw the email was totally changed on her account! Then came to "proof of purchase" which we knew what was bought on that specific day and card number but the error message on billing somehow still came.. but now I was able to contact support with all the info and we hope they will see that she is the real owner!
