okay thank you so much for that, dumb question but does it got to be from steam or is it the same if i bought it off of GameStop? and sent the code to them, I get $1 off $20 card from being a pro member is why

Physical gift cards, like the ones from GameStop, are tied to one currency. If you freely want to gift funds to people in other countries, you should do it through the digital gift cards on Steam.

Thats the same as a physical gift card and will not work.

it aint lol we just tested it 2 times i bought $1 USD steam gift card on eneba, sent them the code it worked and bought it on gamestop $20 sent the code it work, swear it did

The activation of a retail USD gift card in Ukraine is only possible if the account was registered within a region in which the USD is Steam's primary currency. Ukraine however uses UAH. Please note that region hopping and falsifying the location of permanent residency is a violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and may result in account termination.

I think everyone region hops it’s nothing new that’s why they changed the region pricing for some countries people just don’t care but tell him that not me
