Steam cloud error - router problem?

Hey guys, so I've been getting steam cloud errors ever since I got a new internet (new router, new ISP [Orange]) my saves cant be synced. Whenever I connect my PC to a hotspot steam cloud works just fine, so it probably has to be some router setting right? I've been trying to pinpoint the problem and change some settings in the router, but nothing really helped. I tried setting off QoS, lowering firewall settings and so on, but no luck. Anyone care to help? (router : ZyXEL VMG3927)

Or it could be an issue with the routing between you and the cloud server, which would also explain why connecting to a hotspot works.

To test it you could use a VPN, you can usually find one with a free trial.So long as you aren't trying to bypass region restrictions e.g. activating a game that isn't normally available in your region Steam doesn't have an issue with them. Normally I'd say ping it to see if it fails to reach it, but as I have no idea of the Steam cloud server address you can't do that.

The only way to fix it is to either wait for whatever server along the way that's causing issues is fixed, or change the route your on. Depending on how your ISP handles IP addresses it can be done by doing the following

If that doesn't work you'd have to ask them, but like I say I'd check this is the likely cause of the issue first.

Yep its routing problem, VPN fixes this issue, thanks for the advice.
