payment method no longer works

i live in the Netherlands and have now woken up to the wonderful fact that the payment method i have been been using for half a decade no longer works, i have no idea how long this will last or if it even will be resolved and i wanna buy baldur's gate 3 while i can still afford it (i do not have a lot of income) are there any other ways to pay?

To be fair, iDEAL has been problematic for quite a few years during EVERY big sale.

i don't think that's one of those problems here, there is no error here i am completely locked out from using it i bought some stuff for friends on christmas and that went fine i read somewhere that there was going to be an issue with steam and ideal in 2024 before i started the thread

Im pretty sure its not just iDeal having issues. I had some issues with buying a game bundle yesterday, i cancelled part of the order in the second attempt of the purchase and it instantly completed the purchase.

paypal is being weird rn but i can just buy a 5 and 50 buck gift card for myself i'm broke but i'm not 2 dollars extra will bankrupt me broke

you don't understand there is no place were i can even put my info in it just hits me with the "We are temporarily unable to process transactions with this payment method at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience."

I've got the same problem right now with IDEAL. Please let it be fixed before the sales end.

Also, when you go to something that requires payment, like just "add money to wallet", Steam asks you how you want to do that. Just pick something else that works for you.

Also, PayPal might open up more payment options.
