Can't buy trading cards

I've been trying for close to 4 days to buy trading cards to complete a badge but every time I select the option to buy the remaining cards on the Market, Steam tells me there was an error processing my request and that the servers can't be reached.
This is not limited to one badge. Any badge I wish to buy remaining cards for gets this response. Is something wrong with the Market servers or is it an issue on my end?

Good day and happy 2024! this is all the market tells me when I try to access:
"Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:
There was a problem communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again later."

It's worth noting that I while can access the market itself, it is only when I attempt to purchase remaining trading cards that this error appears.

Maiby you could get your cards by trading with someone. Regarding this error I'm afraid you may need to wait and try later. Maiby servers are overloaded who know...

Market has been a little glitchy the past few days.

Trading cards are collected through in-game drops (acquired randomly during gameplay) and through the market. You use them to craft badges which raise your Steam level.

yeah, i have the same issue, if i reboot my router it works, but just for one atempt, than i need to reboot the router again, it might be the winter sale or my isp is playing tricks on me.
I also hotspoted on my phone, the same happend, it let me do it only once. will see after the sale if that was the reason, never encountered this issue before but i find it that this happened during big sales before

Your not the only one having issues. Today I complete my discovery list, I receive the notification about a new card but the card itself never pop up...So I could say the system itself scam me...

Strange enough if I search for a trading card in the market i get the same error, hope its because of the sale and the servers are overloaded. I was ablle to put funds in my wallet and buy games though

What I'm seeing is that somehow Steam's servers seem to be burdened, and for extended periods of time. It's actually alarming that they won't fix this as soon as possible and instead wait it out.
