My internet works just fine and I can install any game without issue. I can also play any single player game without issue. I’ve also tested playing multiplayer games outside of steam and they work just fine (for example, Planetside 2).
Things I have tried:
-Restarting my computer
-Restarting Steam
-Reinstalling steam
-Reinstalling each game
-Repairing Easy Anti-Cheat (ESU)
-Reinstalling ESU for each game
-Disabling all windows firewalls
-Disabling windows defender
-Updating all windows drivers
-Updating all hardware drivers
-Updating each game
-Updating steam
-Using razor cortex to close all background applications
-Ran each game as administrator
-Waiting 48 hours
I just build this computer and this is a fresh install of steam. I have fiber optic internet and my computer is plugged into my router via ethernet. I’m on windows 11.
Check for malware
Thats all i know about connections
Maybe someone else may appear more qualified to help
-clientport in Steam command line.
Look it up.
Do i need to explan this, you try figure out iss it my ISP my Router my firewall or connerctio to other side
There is also VIP portal that some ISP is doing, open traffic if needed.
And this is why a third person can also make a clue here, what if it work from hes place to 1 of you.
Its so rare that 3 person test can fail, that require multi issue at both of you in the first place.
ps.
But i can already tell you you are part of the problem cant join any Multiplayer server that mean traffic dont get through, if you cant join a steam public server that mean you have network issue.
And i hope this is 1 router only senario, most here assume normaly network.
see steam guide section for steam firewall port's
gl with it.
ps.
You also make a mistake not explan network setup, what if you are pasrt of building complex own local buliding ISP administration, i have seen some need a public ip-adr thern they host a game, its here its odd you cant jpin steam pub game server. then you dont host.
