Extra steam purchases
I wanted to buy something in a game (sea of thieves). I purchased it waited but my purchase wouldn't go through after maybe 10 minutes. I ended up making the purchase a lot of times and they all charged at once and it amounted to $47.97 while I meant to spend
45.99. When I tried refunding all the purchases it wouldn't let me because I did buy the thing with the $5.99. I really need to find a fix or else im gonna get beat and lose half my wallets worth.

REFUNDS ON IN-GAME PURCHASES

Steam will offer refund for in-game purchases within any Valve-developed games within forty-eight hours of purchase, so long as the in-game item has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Third-party developers will have the option to enable refunds for in-game items on these terms. Steam will tell you at the time of purchase if the game developer has opted to offer refunds on the in-game item you are buying. Otherwise, in-game purchases in non-Valve games are not refundable through Steam.

Sea of Thieves isn't under valve, isn't it? so it is up to the devs to accept your refund or not :nkDaze:

The verdict is up to the devs, but you can ask steam support to convey your message/refund request.

Go here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/, scroll down, and type the game's title 'Sea of Thieves'. I just checked that even without the game, I can see that there is an In-Game Purchase option that you could click.

Thanks, thats what I tried before and I tried refunding different ways now too. I just have to wait and see what I can do. Appreciate the help though.

You did not intend to buy these items.
So make sure you point out that it was a malfunction. Not just something you bought and then you wanted to refund a purchase.

Maybe you need a manual ticket. Instead of clicking refund. "Have a problem"
