Steam vr on laptop
just got a new meta quest 2 and wanted to play steam games on it but i cant load steam vr i just keep getting the host pc has stopped responding and i just do not know what to do ive played vr on my brothers pc 3 weeks ago on a different meta quest but i just cant get it to work with this meta or laptop

Laptops are generally iffy, especially when the signal of the dedicated videocard uses a passthrough through the integrated videochip instead of a MUX switch.
What particular laptop are you having problems with?

Brand, model and basic tech specs please.

ok its a asus vivobook if that helps
processor is a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U 1.30 GHz
i got 16 gb of ram
im using a usb c 3.0 to gigabit ethernet adapter because my laptop doesn't have a ethernet port so i got that, i think thats everything lmk if you need any more info
