Items deleted ??

Ok so for cs2 a2f on faceit, i had to do the farming bot trade verification so I sent all my cs inventory (worth around 300$) to my trustworthy in a trade offer. He saw it, but then it disappeared and he does not hold my items(he showed me his inventory). Anyone has any ideas of whats is going on ? ( i dont have the items in my inventory as of right now)

You're using 3rd party, offsite trading sites and have gotten your account compromised in the process.

Re-secure your account and stop being dumb with your account/inventory.

Steps to take NOW:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

And, no, your inventory items aren't returned.

Sorry I maybe was not clear enough. The trade I did was to my trustworthy friend in steam on my steam account . I did not use any third party website for the trade

It was only between me and my real life friend , and he even showed me on discord . What he told me is that the he received a trade offer but now he cannot see it

He didn't say you used a scam site for THAT trade. Your account got compromised at ANY point in the past and they just waited.

How could that happen, I mean it says in my trade history that i sent the trade with all the items and i even changed passwords, cleaned for malwares and had authentification on.

My account was compromised once in the past but since then I have switched pc , and I ran scans and I was able to get my steam account back and changed password as well as get a2f on. I think it’s highly improbable that someone other than me still have access to my steam account

You should look up API scam of CS:GO. That's what happened to you. Basicly you gifted your items to a bot account that copied your friends account.

Well typically the scammer only needs your API key for this scam (why it's called APIscam). So delete anything here and don't use one anymore. https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Pc was not infected so I’m safe on that part
