Assassin's Creed Revelations Key is needed in Ubisoft Connect

I have contacted Ubisoft about trying to play Assassin's Creed Revelations on Steam because after running it through Steam it still asks for a code on Ubisoft Connect. I have already contacted Ubisoft Support with them saying that there is no linked account that the game purchase was linked to. So summed up, I bought Revelations on Steam, it request a key to be used through Ubisoft Connect. Ubisoft Support told me to contact Steam Support which they do not have. Help?
