Delete game and buy again

Hello. I bought month or two ago, riders republic without DLCs. They are very expensive so i bought only base game. Now is winter sale and full game with all DLCs are cheaper than one DLC before. I tried to buy this (complete edition) but i got info "you already have this game" soy question is. Can i somehow delete this base game and buy complete pack edition ? Or there is kind of a limit ? Can i buy the same game twice ? I mean this is not the same typically, base game vs complete edition.

OP, go to https://help.steampowered.com/en/ ,pick the game and select "I want to permanently remove..." then you can buy the version you want. Then again, a version of a game with stuff you don't own yet should let you buy it without jumping through hoops usually.

No, you can't delete it to buy it again as you already have the licence tied to your account. The remove option is just an advanced hide and you can restore it at any time

If i delete permanently my base game, i should be able to buy full version in winter sale. Even if this is not winter sale. If you delete game permanently, why we couldnt buy even the same game again. We pay, we have right ?

you used to be able to delete and rebuy. they removed that ability. you need to buy a bundle that customizes itself to what you already own. and that is set up by the game developer.

Just try it. Despite saying "permanently remove" you can easily reinstate it.

Yeah, it used to be very simple in the old days -- you could just buy the bundle, and it would only add the items you didn't already have.

Then, they changed it so a bundle can't be bought if you already have something... and now, people run into this problem :-(

You could just buy the 2 DLCs separately as that's basicaly just the "complete" pack anyway (the complete pack doesnt come with the seeason 11 pass)
