Disable specific controllers in steam
I have a ROG chakram mouse which has a joystick, however steam recognizes this as a gamepad which causes lots of issues in games. Is there a way to disable only the gamepad input from my mouse and not disable the one from my xbox controller? Because currently the only way to disable controller input is to disable ALL controller input.

I have the same mouse and sadly other than just disabling the steam controller support thing there is no way of fully disabling them in steam.

I have even contacted ROG support only to be told that they have no immediate plans to do anything about this and I'm pretty sure it is because the model up from this mouse the Chakram X has this as a built in feature in Armoury Crate.

I am not sure how easy it would be to implement it into the standard Chakram driver but I suspect they would rather that we shell out for the new mouse instead

You should try out x360ce, you can disable and reorder controllers (including the rog chakram joystick) and it works out most of the time
