Steam link to Raspberry pi 4 in 4K?

I would like to stream to my oled tv but the tv doesn’t have the needed OS. I was thinking about the Shield Pro but it seems more likely that NVidia will be leaving it behind in the near future. I thought about a RPi but I am wondering if it can handle 4K. I can connect over Ethernet. What is everyone’s experience with this? Is there a Google tv box that would work well instead?
