Game crashes and freezes when switching to dedicated GPU

As i said, when i make the dedicated GPU the default GPU in windows settings and i then start a game everything freezes, Task manager, chrome and the game. And it stays like that until i restart the PC. I beg you please help.

Edit: My dumbass had plugged the monitors into the motherboard instead of the GPU. Thanks for the help.

1. Not a Steam problem.
2. How are we supposed to help if we know NOTHING about the computer in question?

1. I am desperate since no one else has responded.

2. The GPU i want to use is a Powercolor Radeon RX 7700 XT Fighter.
The PC is instead recommending the integrated AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics.

To many rookie mistake, thats what happend here.

I think you forgot game name ?, so technicaly we have no clue if it can run it, assume IGPU could, and now you fail because you did not reconfiguraded the game with it, sense it dont use windows default.

You should have ask own game forum they know best if game need a reconfiguration to new gpu card.

Uh that means your games are using the iGPU instead of your much better video card? That seems like a terrible idea?

It honestly soudns like your video drivers for your AMD card are borked. You should reinstall them
