Just tried, did not help. Looks exactly the same as on other devices / apps. :-(
Only the message "Claim your free daily reward all sale long!" but nothing to click on or another way to claim it.

This might answer some questions. If you're not a limited account then the only people who can resolve your issue is Steam Support.

Amd how can I tell if someone tagged my account as limited? And for what reason? I do not know how can I check if I am being limitted for some bizarre reason or not. So far I have not noticed anything, yesterday I claimed my 1st freebie just alright. No idea what would cause this (if this is true).
So unless all 700+ games you own were gifted from other accounts, keys purchased through 3rd party sites, or bought with virtual Steam gift cards from other users, I'd imagine you've spent enough to not be limited.
Yeah, I don't know. I have spent more than 5 usd for sure, last purchase mid November I believe (that went over 5 usd). I do not know what limited account is, someone would have to switch my account to limited after so many years. It would be also strange to change it to limited after I was able to claim first rewards. I have no idea and it somewhat pisses me off tbh. :-(
From what I gathered the functionality of Steam is the same, but I noticed, the 2nd day after the event started I could not:
- claim free rewards
- view news (viev - update news, says something wrong with contacting steam servers or smthg along those lines)
- notifications history is gone (says 0 recent messages)
- cannot gift other people rewards (for guides etc) - same error with communicating with steam
- when I go through the discovery queue, it says "you can earn -1 card" at the end
I have no idea what is wrong, what happened and / or how to fix this tbh, I have been thinking about this the whole day what could have happened in order for me to get limited or something... I guess I received a "nice" early gift from Steam :-(
If you're on the client, try the browser instead. Reload. Restart the client. Not entirely sure how to force the client to choose another endpoint

I tried the pc client, steam deck, web browser (Chrome, havn't tried other browsers), I tried tethering my phone and using that connection, nothing has changed so far. I tried to change download region hoping it would somehow change connection to certain servers and that would change something, again, nothing.
