Got tired of clicking on buses, motorcycles, fire hydrants, crosswalks, etc. Not using a VPN and I flushed my DNS. Has anyone been able to work around this problem? It seems like Steam is not very responsive when it comes to fixing this problem.

Stop looking like a bot:
* Use a common browser
* Use a common operating system (Windows, any Linux derivative, MacOS)
* (Temporarily) accept cookies
* [✔ You already do this] Don't use a root server's IP address (don't use a VPN or a proxy, would contravene the SSA anyway)
* Don't act in a predictable pattern, act human (if you think you are caught in a CAPTCHA loop, change your behaviour and try at a different time with a different set of indicators, do not actually try to solve the CAPTCHAs flawlessly, this makes you even more suspicious)

Thanks for the reply. I tried all that. I'm using Chrome, Windows 10, not using a VPN, tried moving the mouse around before clicking the Captcha box (as this is what is looking for to see if I am a machine - if you do this you shouldn't really see the boxes with buses, cars, etc). I've tried on a different computer.

I'll try again when I get back to work on another computer on a different network. The fact remains that the Steam/Captcha combination is broken.

I was eventually able to create an account using my cell phone after disabling the wifi. If only I can get Family Sharing working now!

Try in the mobile app in the mobile app theres no captcha
