Trying to log in the steam, forgot password..........

For the pass 20 minutes been trying log in the app. i 4got the password. When i try to change the password it send a code....everything i have tried sends a code, but nowhere to put the code. The app goes straight to the log in screen. Overtime......sends codes, but nowhere to type the code.......

You don't have to type any code. If your email adress matches any Steam account, they send you a link to recover your account to that email. Once you acces your email, click the link they send to you and you should be able to reset your password/update your email.

Also, try to uninstall the app and use browser to acces/recover your account!

Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/ or with whatever.

Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Change your password on a secure device.

Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Revoke the api key (this should be empty) https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

OP's computer is compromised and thus as a result, he can't reset his steam account password.
