Lost email/inaccessible email, is there a way to get the account back?

Hello, when I was young in elementary school I made an account on steam with the schools email & on my old computer. Bought a few games like hollow knight, changed, ect. (big mistake). I eventually had to leave the school, and a few months after they shut down the email because I left of course.
Fast forward a few years and i'd like to go back to some of those games I had but of course can't get into the account and little old me didn't think to put a backup email/number

I can't remember the email by heart, but I know it went like Name-StudentID.ivyprepacademy.org
The student Id, I can't remember. If there's no solution, I think I might email the school to see if I can get the account back, but I know that's probably a long shot. Is it lost for good or can I get it back somehow? Also, account is here if you're wondering

DO NOT be logged in on any account
Follow the guide. If you can't enter details cause they've been changed, you don't remember or have access to them use the I don't have/known this data option or just enter random dskjfhksjdfh to continue

If you can login at steam client with accouint name and old pw, then you can change email ard to new email. server , steam has inclient option so user can do that.

you can change email adr in client as long you are the user that still have acces to its account.
what do you expect steam has to hold every usre in there hands every time a email server get shutdown or merge into another isp email custommer servers.
they do have other things to do then change it user email adr.

If you read the post you'd see the account linked at the bottom and OPs account are different accounts. If it was a simple go change email address I wouldn't have linked the account recovery guide

Maybe you should read again what he said , he said write school, most places like that dont give past information out anymore. and past email or user ID, he need to be lucky if they have IT and can confirm past user, back then things was not made on IT,
and still dont mean they give informations out without proof who you are.

Maybe old credit card will be better as proof if you bought it with that.

READ AGAIN! OP is NOT talking about the account they are posting from. They linked the account they are talking about because they CANNOT login to it. Thus recover is required BEFORE they can change the email address. -If they only wanted to change address I would have said

Click Steam in top left corner > Settings > Account > Change Email Address

Maybe he should look at old school papirs, if im not mistake student ID is used more then one time, it was not used frequent in the past. 10-20 years ago or more.
