No Internet Connetion / Content Servers Unreachable

Hello everyone!



Today i decided to download updates on multiple games in the library, but every time i click on "update" i saw an errors "No Internet Connection" or "Content Servers Unreachable".



I tried to reboot my laptop, rooter and everything that can be rebooted. I log out and logged in steam. I changed download region, i turned off firewall and nothing helps.



Finally i decided to reinstall steam and now i have empty library without possibility to download anything because of these errors.



Somehow, after few region changes, i managed to download 17% of 1 game in the list...



Any ideas how it can be fixed?

Start your system in safe mode (for obvious reasons with networking), see whether this changes things.

Nothing. I also used another laptop and got the same error

I also tried to switch from my home wifi to phone's internet and still can't download anything...

Created new account and tried to dowload cs:go2 - and guess what? everything is ok and working =\ but can't do anything on this account... like, wtf?!

Ok, the only thing that helped - changing region to vietnam... all the other regions are not working somehow =\

2 pc, that cant get online, either you have network issue or your ISP do.
noone here dare say netcard driver then most do not have same netcard or driver on 2 pc.

ps.
to have isp sms service if they even have such is a most to have, why faulty find if you know better that own ISP has planned work or emergency work.

you need to be master or very skill to know better or have multi pc, to avoid them traps with single point pc view or problem

The problem was solved by changing download server exactly to Vietnam (I'm from Europe btw).

I also used 2 different accounts, and new one i just created worked fine, so it can't be problem with my connection. It's all bout exactly this accout i'm using right now.

I hope they will fix this, because download everything from Vietnam server will take me too much time...

Im not sure what going on there, if you need to use a Vetnameis server then you have a srewed up isp or congested area issue.

You go past middleleast to get to that place most here will say worst path ever, the more you need to goto asia from EU then more ppl live there, this dont add upp as best choise.

what are the odds you can find a route to that area then most from middleeast will use.

i do not know every fiber in the world, and i dont have to, its pure polulations, every Asia dude know this, you also get past india , this make no sense at all.
unless you have company pc that have company lines popout over there.

Most still dara say EU has better network also because lesser ppl ofc. we will have same issue if we reach Asia populations,

this is my point compare EU with Asia you cant. ( they have double amont of ppl online. )
so its hard to belive you can get better line to a steam server there.

if i was you do a traceRT ( google it ) not first choise in my book as one from EU to get a better steam DL server. do steam reset you to a Asia DL server , maybe a leashed out wan ip adr pool, could have done that, ask own ISP. ( steam will not solve this for you they are not a ISP. )

Steam Global view , and why one from EU will never go to a Asia steam DL server as a choise.

Same issue with the same "fix" here. Now the apps are being updated but extremely slow. I'm from Turkey. Have you found any other workaround?

Steam Global view , why world you goto high load area. ( only very few ppl have a super highway that dont follow logic, and technicaly thats BS explanation , i will call it route tunnel way that area need more access to other region to avoid bottleneck, ure TraceRT to learn such problem with this dont men you will get the info, and you still end up with talk with own ISP.

most do not have tunnel that get out to fareway area, but stay there as long as it works, then fine by me, jsu dont expect it miught be that forever.

they dont make superhighway without a reason. ( all part of ISP's grand plans of demanding traffic or work as backup lines. then needed. ) and why you can get trouble if all traffic goes there.


stick to the map and it tell all , then things crumble someday.
