PLIS HELP ASUS TUF SCREEN
I have an ASUS TUF GAMING laptop that's like 2 years old and now when I have my screen on 144hz it flickers and disconnects and goes black etc but when I have it on 60hz it is working fine (but I cannot stand the refresh rate of 60hz whilst playing), is this a driver issue or should I replace the screen? I tried to update my drivers and stuff but all seemed ok and I'm terrible with technology so not really sure what I'm doing. TIA xoxo

EDIT: It's a laptop display so I got the 'flex' (that's what the guy told me it was called but idk) checked and he said everything was fine with that

use only the native hz of your display
Make sure cable is fully inserted for both ports on display, and GPU.

If not working, use another cable. Also check it other ports if the issue, like if have two HDMI on GPU, use the other port, or if you're using display port, try using HDMI instead, or vice versa.

To test video driver is reinstall your GPU drivers.

If issue still happens then it may be the display itself.
