All's fine; "Steamworks" is that what makes up Steam to game developers. The "framework" for creating "a Steam game" let's say.

Simply put, Steamworks Common Redistributibles is a file/tool suite that includes the needed components of many games and applications. With it, you don't have to download the components again and again.
