Where is support?

Governor of poker 3 STOPPED WORKING as of a few days ago now. NUMEROUS people have posted this in the GOP3 forum. I tried to post in help/tips on the steam forum but I don't see it anywhere now. IS THIS A STEAM BUG OR GOP3 BUG? All the error says is some executable is missing. And this seems to be for mac users though I'm not sure about that.

I tried emailing GOP support several times but NO replies.


STEAM.... THIS IS THE ONLY GAME I PLAY HERE. If it's gone, so are you. I have NO other motivation to keep steam other than this one game. So tell me if this is fixable or not.

Valve doesn't support non-Valve games. Your issue is with the Governor of Poker developer/publisher, they're the only ones who can offer support for their game. The only ones who can manage their game. And the only ones responsible for communicating issues, outages, or any game related things, good or bad.

It's not likely to be a Steam bug: I've played several games over the last few days without issue. If it was some kind of Steam bug that affects GOP3 only, that would still be on the developer to address the issue and find a resolution. But I'd be skeptical that there's a Steam issue that only affects one random poker game, so if it were me I'd be looking at the game first.

You can post anywhere you like, but general forums outside the games forum aren't likely to yield better/different results. Most of the users on this forum aren't going to have played that game. And the most common advice for game specific issues is to refer users to the game's own forums. If there's no resolution there (yet) it just may not exist, it's probably not hidden in other unrelated, random or general forums.

Steam is just a store, they're not responsible to troubleshoot your games, contact the developer.

The game devs updated the depots yesterday and things broke or they removed the MAC depots...

Hasnt the OP been literally whining about this game on steam for months? One wonder why they keep playing a game they seemingly claim to simultaneously hate and are definitely not addicted to
