You can not buy games with your Steam Points.
The reply you got in your last thread only called it "store credit" because the money cannot leave your wallet. There isn't actually such a thing as "credits," it was only an analogy by that poster. What you get when you sell items on the market it essentially the same as real money in your wallet when it comes to purchasing games. You can buy games using money in your wallet, including money that came from selling things on the market.
So, it is store credit to avoid that big mess it would cause if it wasn't.
