Mic not working in-game
My mic was working in game when CS2 first released. Now, no matter what I do, I can not get my voice to transmit in-game.

In the "Voice" category of Steam settings, my microphone works when I start the microphone test. It is loud and clear. Additionally, in every other non-valve game, as well as my music software, the microphone works.

In Steam client voice chats my mic works. It is only not working in-game.

When I launch CS2, a new setting becomes available: the "In-Game Voice" setting. No matter what I do or try, I can not make my mic work on the in-game voice microphone test.

It has the exact same input as the standard voice setting, but it is impossible to get audio out of it.

Various things I've tried:

Turning on streamlined push to talk
Restarting Steam and PC
Setting default devices in windows control panel
Setting voice_threshold to 0 using in-game console
Boosting mic volume to ridiculous levels
Went to both voice and in-game voice in Steam settings, changing input and output gain around as well as lowering voice threshold.
I have reinstalled Steam and CS2.
I have tried using another mic.

Post it in games forum.
In the audio recording devices in the Windows settings you must select the correct microphone - it has a name - and click on make this device default, then select the correct microphone name also in the game and in the apps.
same here, just waiting for some fix, meanwhile im not playing anymore (already reinstalled the game and still does not work)
