Uninstalled games still in the installed list
I admit, I this happened probably because of me, but it still should not behave like this.

I got a new desktop computer so I wanted to benchmark it by installing Steam games that had quite advanced graphics. Then I installed another internal hard drive and thought it would be a good idea to move my games away from my OS and apps to keep everything neat and tidy. I followed the instructions to move the already installed games to the new folder, but for some reasons moving the files was incredibly slow, so I cancelled the copy and moved everything back to where it was, deleted the the copied files and everything was fine.

Then I decided to uninstall some of those games since I installed them mainly for testing purposes and didn't mean to play them again this soon (like Assassin's Creed Unity, Arkham Knight and so forth). After uninstall, I could see some space was cleared up in the main hard drive, all good. But then I realized the games were still in the installed list. Of course when I hit play, it can find the game's executable, but then I can't re download the game either because I only have the play button. So I'm stuck with 3 or 4 games in my list that I don't want to play, but can't really re-download, or don't want to re-download, since even if I have unlimited internet, I've realized my connection was getting slower for the rest of the month after generating huge amount of traffic (I downloaded over 360 gigs of data in the first 24 hours of getting my new computer).

I've tried to delete my userdata, it didn't work

I've tried to reset my steam list following this:
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3134-TIAL-4638
Which now allows me to download the games again and then would allow me to uninstall them afterward I guess, but if I could get rid of those games without having to download them that would be better

I guess because of my failed attempt to move the games, changed the default install folders it kind of confused Steam and that's why it still thinks the game is installed locally somewhere on my computer.

I have Windows 10 Home 64bit

Any idea?

Thanks!

Then right click the game from Steam Library > delete local content
And from now on, that is how u Uninstall Steam Games.
