Task-bar on Windows Keeps Refreshing

For some odd reason whenever I attempt to play a Steam game and happen to click multiple times in rapid succession, my Windows task bar refreshed. Not the whole bar, just the game icon. This wouldn't be much of a problem if it didn't constantly tab me out of my games as well.

Furthermore, the games, when minimized, sometimes no longer will allow me to go back onto them. I seem to be having a hard time clicking back onto them after I minimize the tab or do something else.

Any sort of fix for this would be wonderful! If you need more info just let me know and I will try to provide. :)

Have you tried basic instructions such as re-installing the game? In my opinion, playing around in the video/graphic settings will fix the issue.

I should mention that it is every game I run.

Weird sounds like you're tapping buttons on accident to open the menu up the only way I would know how to fix this is to disable the menu or change your key binds to open the menu.
