How to verify your steam account? Where to input info?
I know there's alot of threads out there already. I scanned a few forums and nobody seemed to ask this question. I recieved an email with the 2 deposits have been made to my account. However due to my inbox auto cleaning, i don't have that email anymore and going through my steam account / community page i can't seem to find anything to provide a link as to where you can verify your account. Anyone have a link as to how to validate (though im with most people, i had no issue prior to the holds... i was able to use the store, buy off the market, yet suddenly hit a wall of "please help verify" as im not in the smart phone club either...)... I just can't seem to find a simple link to validate their deposits into my account.

As it stands, like most people who can't validate instantly with a mobile, market use has become null and void and to be honest. I haven't bothered logging into CS:GO for near a week because of it. Pretty annoying that they can take your money first then ask for validation second.:steamfacepalm:

Having already verified it 6months ago i didn't think it's relevant. Seems to me this clears alot up for people however.

Correct me if im wrong here.

Even if you have previously verified your credit card through your previous mobile etc. With the new authenticator restrictions you will have to verify your credit card / debit card again through the 2 deposits valve/steam have made for you?

Those two concepts are absolutely unrelated.

So why am i verifying my card a second time then?

It's already been verified 6months ago, this issue has come up since the community market restrictions came in place since i dont use android/ios based phones. I now have to go through the deposits again. I got the phone code when i added it, verified it, it says verified on my account.. im being asked to check my account for 2 deposits roughly 5 days ago now. Email is verified. Guess i should just go through an emulator like others recommend since i dont own the required pathways Steam want me to take.

It doesn't come up because you don't use a smartphone.

i dont think you're following... i was able to use the market, list, trade absolutely fine prior to the 9th. Since the 16th i added funds, bought some keys, a stattrak swap (turned out to be pointless, should of done more research on what it works on... was hoping to pull one off a gun and throw it onto the default knife since i named it "Homebrand") then i can't remember exactly what i did next, oh i did a trade with a friend (8 more days till finished) and something else that didnt work as it asked me to verify my card with the two deposits. However, when i first made the account for my home use 6months ago, i've attached my card 6months ago, verified my account through phone and verified my email as required... Now im being told that i need to check the two deposits. I guess the real question is, even if they're verified... The market restrictions still apply unless you have a smartphone to authenticate every transaction in which you wish to sell/trade on. (Which. funnily enough, Steam/Valve have no issues with you adding from any card and buying from the market or through store... just can't sell/trade now)

Don't make it hard to follow. Are you talking about credit card verification?
