I got scammed through a faceit hub | 5e Arena HUB
so i was just trying to play games with a random found in my faceit matches he invited me to play on a hub and for it i needed to do a verification for it and so i did the steps after i had done the steps it said i needed to put all my items in a trade with a friend and to accept it then have the friend cancel it but when i did just that a bot took my items, im so dumb for falling for it, but i did not think you could take items like that.

P.S THE END

They didn't take items from you. You gave them the items. Learn from your mistake. No one needs to verify your inventory. You were also most likely phished. You should take steps to secure your account.

the account is compromised, that is how they "knew" you traded with your friend. they have a bot that looks at who you are trading with, then changes a dummy account to look like the one you where trying to trade with. this is one of the reasons they added the cooldown for trading when you change your accounts profile name.

make sure your account is secured

If you have access to the account

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Please review how you are logging into Steam, you somehow gave them your log in information. This could of been due to the computer being compromised and redirecting to a fake login, or you using a 3rd party site to login to steam.

i just got that message, i fell for it but the pop up window (that apparently indeed does send you to a valid steam auth page) marked as incorrect the code i entered, that made me look twice and realized it said that it was from the russian federation.
after that i checked both pages and both the "gg,campusgameleague.com" and the "login.5arena.com" pages were not cleared by cloudflare.
immediately changed my password.

Do NOT post the Links here. You are literally advertising them.

The pop up is a grafic on the phishing website (you could not move it outside). Thats how it can SHOW the right url. Or literally everything.

Never log into given links or buttons.
