Some questions about gift

Hey, wanted to know:

How can i gift emoticon, stickers, background, profil background etc.. ??

i just buy 2 stickers and trying to gift or trade (for free) to someone but i don't find them

do i need to activate it ? i need to gift before buying ? can we gift everything or only emoticon but not stickers ?!
Its really confusing and i don't find topic about these specifical questions

If got item from steam point shop they can not be traded, marketed, nor break into gems.


Items you get from crafting badges, market place, trading, in game store, lootboxs, certain event drops, can be traded, marketed, or break into gems.


All items in your inventory will tell you if you can trade, market, or break into gems.

I guess you could find somewhere your friend posted and just award their post with points so they can get it themselves with the points you gave them in award. Or am I misunderstanding your question?

No, i wanted to give someone in my friend list a stickers (to use in friend chat) or a profil background to him to personnalize his profil

He often play solo/offline etc... and don't got much steam store point i think

Well if you really want your friend to get said stickers, or stuff from point shop, your best option is you giving awards to your friend. It takes 14 days to get the points, please note it's 3 to 1 ratio, that means if you give a 300 points award, your friend get 100 points from it, or if give 600 points award your friend get 200 points, hence 3 to 1 ratio.

You can buy the profile background on the community market (if it is available) and trade it to your friend.
