OP you make mistake here, he has other security app issue in top of this, but you dont seem to know that, and now he hijacking thread, no game company or steam is responsbile for he block some games. ( thats hes own problem to deal with )
And no we cant help him here, thats derail of topic, any helper here can tell you that.
He have the same issue as me and every venezuelan with steam at Venezuela as region with Bandai's 2022+ game catalogue. Yet I already replied him with the answer I got from a japanese friend. Looks like he didn't see my reply to him. Don't know why he insists lol
And as for Kral2012 in case you miss... again the answer:
Since it all about a certain law of cyber security stuff in Venezuela, the only solution is: Venezuela accepts Bandai Namco ToS or Bandai Namco change their ToS for us (making a new region) which is unlikely. Or just buy a PS4/PS5 or Xbox Series and buy those game there. I'm likely to get a PS5 just because of that.
To be clear, there are other countries were they have the same regulations but those have a regional keys just for them and internally their ToS is not the same as rest of the world (ROW) or global version.
A example of that is Rusia, Japan and some other countries in EU. Don't know if the country pays for that or if the publisher do this.
The game will collect data in those versions in a whole different way.
Now that Venezuela is together in a new region with other countries, we hope to see some good changes with this in the future.
And for future people or Venezuelans, please do not hitjack the thread again.
what are you talking about? We can literally buy DOOM which is way more violent than Digimon. In fact, that law exist since 2009, and it is mainly against promoting the violent games and stuff, yet you see a lot of video gamestores selling fisical copies of those games. It is the publisher who doesn't want to sell it because yolo,
But this law has never been enforced, ffs I can buy Metal Gear, Doom, Paradox Games, etc. It was a law only made because they got pissy about Mercenaries 2 being in Venezuela and even that game didn't had that law enforced.
It's suspicious as ♥♥♥♥ that I right now can just buy every single doom game on steam, hell even old Bandai Namco games but not recent ones.
I can buy Dark Souls 3, I cannot buy Elden Ring's expansion. BN suddenly decided to block us for no absolute reason.
I mean ffs I can buy Hatred if that game isn't having that law enforced then this is blatant missinfo from your part.
Learn to read first... this is a cybersecurity/license issue from Bandai side which affects all parties. This has nothing to do with the antibelic law we have.
what you wrote appears to be what a friend told you
do you have any proof that they are scanning our entire pc in the way you claim?
seems like fearmongering, but i would be happy to read something about it
