Why can i not recieve gifts??

I have a couple friends who have both tried to get me a game but when they try it doesnt work and i dont know why??

There are several possible issues here.

1.) They can't afford it.
2.) There is an error somewhere in the server/cloud.
3.) Your setting may not be set to allow you to receive gifts.

I think it's in Family Sharing where you can determine who can send you gifts.

I've gotten other gifts from the same friends and it is just now not working so im just really confused

Really? Well, the reasons I provided could still be the reason, however, you might want to ask the Steam Support team to look into this for you. It might just be a setting, or it could be an error in the servers. Either way, support ought to fix.

Click Help>Steam Support>Contact Support. I think that's right. There might be another step I'm missing. I do know that the help button is up top on your screen.
