Can't purchase a bundle because Steam thinks I already have the game in my cart.
I'm trying to purchase the Cooking Simulator bundle, but I keep getting an error that states this when I go to purchase:

"You cannot complete your transaction because you are attempting to purchase an item that is already included in another packaged item in your cart. Please check your cart to verify that you are not purchasing an item multiple times. The most common cause would be purchasing DLC along with a deluxe version of a product that already includes the same DLC."

The bundle is the only thing in my cart. A week ago I put just the base game in my cart, but removed it when I decided to wait for a sale. I have tried so far: signing in and out / clearing web browser history and cookies on steam / Windows + R, %localappdata%, and deleting the htmlcache folder in the Steam folder. None of these solutions have worked. Is there anything else I can do to clear the invisible item that is supposedly there?

Thank you SO much for this. I never would've guess this was the issue in a million years.

I can't seem to access the linked thread, what does it say? I'm having the same issue

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
