What do Steam Awards do and is it worth giving?
Basically, I just want to know if it's just for cosmetic purposes or do they actually do something when you give them

Well, you spend some of your points, and the recipient gets some (not all) of those.

Other than that, they don't do anything.

Give the jester / clown ones for cosmetic purpose, they actually do make some people very upset when they get them.

The recipient's profile/account also levels up. More levels = more perks.

That would be so damn annoying and isn't it impossible to remove unless you turn the awards thing off?
