Remove Show Keyboard Command

After over an hour of just trying to find out why this on screen keyboard appeared on screen randomly and what program it was even from I finally found directions from this forum explaining how to disable the command in the controller settings in the Guide Button Chord Layout. However it or any of the other commands on the list can not be removed when selecting remove. They just remain there. Why even have the button suggesting I can remove command? Is it just there to piss people off?
