Game not found

Hey, I play games very rarely, it's been a few months and today I wanted to play Battlefield and it says game not found. What can I do to resolve this without loosing progression?

Where are you looking for it? Is it supposed to be in your library? Or you are trying to buy it and you can't find it? Please specify.

So I can see it in a library and when I click play it says error; application not found.

It may not be founding the game foulders, it can appear like 'Installed' while it is not. Try opening the game properties and try locate local files. If it doesn't show anything then the game isn't installed, if it shows the 'Start' button available the it should show the 'Uninstall' button what you should do, also try verifying files which will install all the necessary things that aren't already installed.

Other option, since Battlefield games need EA App to start you could install or open this app if you already have it, if you bought this game on Steam make sure you link your Steam account with your EA one, once there try open the game from EA.

Sound like content still there sense you can validate it, so whats left security maybe , try add steam.exe to exceptions rules and game and launcher. its a EA game at steam or though EA launcher. require thirdpart app folder access if im not mistaken in Document folder with userdata.
