Steam Games Disables Internet Connection

While in Steam everything is working fine however, once I start any game/app the application will load but it will completely disable the connection to the internet? Once I close the application and return to steam the internet comes back on-line. I've tried firewall settings, removed my IPV6 networks turning off windows security real-time, flushing DNS settings and yes restarting the computer and network but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks,

I have tried a few more settings as well as kill programs that may be interfering with the WiFi but still no luck. While steam is on the internet is strong but once I load MSFS or RDR2 the internet is completely disabled. I have also reinstalled steam. I would not think it was the games because I feel like it would just start happening to them both. Could the new V6 spectrum router be causing the problem? not sure I tried to call spectrum but they were little to no help. Any other suggestions? Thanks,
