Lost email address, can't get through verification

I made an account for my family in 2020, dedicated to VR games. I wanted to log in it, only to realise I don't remember what the linked email address was for said account, thus I can't get through the verification. When I press 'Help, I no longer have access to this email'. Then the client offers me the option to change email address in exchange for either account name, email or phone number. But when I type the account name in it says incorrect email address, so I figured Steam won't help me out here.

My question is:
Is there any way of finding out what email address is linked to an account without logging in? If I had the address I could surely log in it, because at that time I used the same pw for all new accounts.

So you have the correct account name? If so, follow this guide and use the step that you don't have access to the email address:

You will need to be able to provide whatever proof of ownership Support will ask for.

I'm having the same problem as OP. The only info I have is the account name and password, I don't know what email address it is.

When it says "Enter your account name, previous email address or phone number"

I enter the account name

And then it says "The email address or phone number you entered is invalid. Please try again."

It doesn't accept an account name

I don't know if I put a phone number on that account but if I did it's the same as this one and I don't want to change my info for this account

Any ideas
