Intel Iris XE is a integrated graphic solution on your CPU.
No way is it powerful enough to run games in VR.
You need a GOOD dedicated GPU to run VR, it has to calculate 2 pictures at once at up to 100 FPS each, thats how VR works.
I used a RTX 2080 for VR and even that one struggled in some games.
Just to visualize that, here is your Intel Iris XE compared to that RTX 2080.

VR is nothing for a weak integrated graphic chip.
With what you currently have, VR is simply not an option.
If you want to be able to actually enjoy it, you will have to throw money at that hobby, quite a bit of it.
