Steam server routing is messed up in Hawaii

It used to be 85 ping to Dota Japan servers, 55 ping to USW Seattle servers. It now routes me through the LAX data center no matter what, which adds 100 ping to Japan (165). It often routes me through LAX to Seattle, which adds an extra 20 ping. I think the change happened about 1-2 months ago.
