Most coupon sights pull codes from user suggested pools. It's hard to find legitimate codes for steam on any coupon finder website. Steam usually roles out coupons and discounts via email.
Hope this helps :)
Steam does not have coupon codes.
All it does is redirect you to Steam and links you to dead sales pages since the "coupons" are just the actual discounted games that are already on sale for whatever the "coupon" was for on the store, at the time. These sales are most likely over and you will just be dumped at the main store page.
It's all about getting you to click on their crap and increase their page analytics and click through statistics for Business Insider. Just data mining.
The only coupons are game coupons for specific games, opted into by the game dev/pub. These are obtained through crafting game badges and are inventory items.
Steam does not send coupon codes via email.
