Help with changing avatar

I bought this halloween special theme with everything even avatar but it says

Use your Steam Points to get this Game Profile, which contains exclusive items and a theme not available separately. All items will be equipped when you activate this, except for the Animated Avatar.

I have gone to my profile and edit when I go to avatar it just tells me to upload. It does not even have the other ones I bought.

So how do I change my Avatar to the one I bought?

I can see the avatars in my inventory and it says equip in edit profile. When I click on it, its takes me there but the only button is upload avatar. There is nothing there to change my avatar to the ones I bought.

As its a theme in your edit profile select special profile that could include all the features such as mini profile. plus Background profile
Look in mini profile as its likely animated

I did this that how I got all but the avatar on. I am trying to change the avatar. My Avatar is still the only one. and as I stated it says

All items will be equipped when you activate this, except for the Animated Avatar.

I found an old post that talks about there being a spot above "Your Avatar Frames" That is suppose to have "Your Avatars" But for me that is not there.

Are you in the client? Empty the web cache or try in a browser.

Alright another update I thought alright since i cant do it on the steam itself what if I tried on the app. Nope. Alright what about on the website. Nope. When you go to Avatar in edit profile it does not have your bought avatars. only your frames. And if I could upload an image I would show you but I cant.

Odd, I can see all my avatars perfectly fine when I go to Edit profile -> Avatar. It does take a second for the Avatar section to pop up and during that time only the frames are visible.

Could be related to server issues (on Steams side) or perhaps slower internet (ISP or your side).

Its not my ISP. I am on a gig fiber op. And I already tested that.

Wait, you said you bought a profile, right? You should equip the profile and start form there. The components aren't selectable individually. you have to first equip the profile and then you can alter things if you do want different things.

for example, I have a transparant theme, it's part of the Puzzle profile, I think. I had to first equip the profile and then I changed the background, avatar, avatar frame and mini profile back to what I wanted. A bit of effort when it would have been easier if I simply could select the transparant theme.

Your not reading I already did that and it says "which contains exclusive items and a theme not available separately. All items will be equipped when you activate this, except for the Animated Avatar."

Which is why I am trying to put on the avatar.

The avatar has a check mark in the store. I can see it in the inventory. But when I go to avatar in edit profile "Your Avatars" is not there. only "Your Avatar Frames" is there

And if you hover over my name there you can see I have the mini profile and if you go to my profile you can see all the other stuff there except my avatar

Ok Another update I thought alright maybe my steam is not updated. So I checked for an updated says I am uptodate. Alright all good there. Lets reboot my computer. Did that and reopened steam. Nope still the same.

My avatars is not there.

I just checked and the animated avatars from the themes indeed are showing up under the avatar parts for me.

Not sure what is going on for you, other than perhaps server issues on Steams end. Even such server issues can be regional or even local. Perhaps a quick ticket to Steam Support could do something, though I doubt that.
