How to use Steam screenshot's F12 while in Nvidia photo mode

I been attempting to get some fancy pics in a game that supports nvidias alt + F2 photo mode. But Steam's F12 does not work while this menu is open. Is there a way to either get it to work or convert Nvidia screenshots to steam screenshots?

No. The ansel is outside of Steam's lower qualitycompression.

The Ansel has quite a few settings we can use.

Then there is Photoshop and Others to enhance the images.

The issue isn't the key that I know of. It just disables steam screenshots outright for me.

Because there is no Steam Overlay in nVidia Ansel, this also means it can not grab the screen output.

damn! So I assume I gotta do one of those work arounds like moving the picture to the games steam folder

Annoyingly yes.

I wish I could use Ansel. Lack of AZERTY (ZQSD instead of WASD) support and no way to rebind makes it unusable.

So a work around I found to force a screenshot, is using the screenshot button on a controller. Annoying but it works.
