"Use Nintendo Button Layout" only on certain games?
In the general steam settings, under the controller category, there's an option that swaps A and B, and X and Y, so more games will work better with the Switch's Pro Controller if they don't in the first place. However, there are a select few games that do compensate for a Pro Controller already, and that messes up how the game controls, effectively negating the change.
I was wondering if it would be possible to turn it off specifically for certain games, so everything works as intended.

For the games where you want 'Use Nintendo Button layout' disabled, you could mod their controller layout and switch the buttons.

(Right-click game in Steam Library > Manage > Controller Layout > Edit Layout)

That is one way to do it, I was just wondering if there was a faster way to do so.

I don't see a way for per-game control of the setting, so fastest way I see would be to swap the buttons & save it as a template. Then you'd just apply that template when necessary.
(Not at my PC but can update with steps later, if required)
