Can you add OneDrive as a drive on steam?
I'm just wondering if it is possible to use OneDrive as a drive to download games, I'm trying to but it just is not working.

You cannot since it’s a cloud service

You kinda-sorta can. You can make a folder junction to mount your Steam library within your OneDrive folder. That'll make exactly one copy of the actual data, except visible in 2 places. OneDrive will use the one place, Steam the other, still same data.

Sometimes you can see things get used in diffrent way, rule is media type, most delivere data fast enough so game dent get a timeout, games is not always so nice to wait for data, and thats why as above user is right, but same time , we never know how things is, we have seen post with ppl install games on NaS server, i will not recommend it , so technicaly notthing prevent a cloud server doing this, there is already Cloudbook that dont have disk, but call them gaming pc we will not. ( and that day if MS make it as mapped drev as options then you could do this if game will work with such crazy idea's, a turn base game could do this. but im not so sure rest of steam service even will or accept this, man your topic is complicated or could be seen as such.

atm we stick to NO you cant. and we are not support here, and what steam will do on about it or not.

what prevent you from test this, noting there are cloud service thats diffrent, so technicaly nothing prevent you from doing it, but if game work from there is a diffrent matter. ( require its fast enough)

Dont forget old days, games could be a on a floppy disk, noone in right mind will say do that today.

gl with it.

if you miss space try a external disk they are cheeper then any cloud afaik.
